work4sure is a B-to-B company. Revenues are generated purely from service fees that comprise both subscription and pay-per-use charges.

Our services are applicable to any e-business to which the specification of a customer's computer is significant to the management of the relationship. Some of the most obvious examples are e-tailers, manufacturers, vendors, ISP/ASPs and technical support providers, but the potential range of applications is very broad. We even have plans for a specialist service, based on work4sure technology, to aid software publishers and hardware manufacturers during the beta-testing process.

The targeted configuration information that work4sure provides can be used for a number of purposes. It can be used to:

  • Generate new sales (recommending upgrades, or removing doubt over product selection);
  • Minimise product returns (ensure the customer selects the appropriate product at the outset);
  • Support technology programmes (select and monitor test programme participants);
  • Enhance levels of customer support (automatic and error free information), and feed other applications (via open data format).

 

Q: Who are work4sure's direct competitors?
A:

The nature of our technology and concept is such that we have no direct competitors. There are a number of companies whose offerings have some degree of overlap: However, our technology provides us with a significant differential.

 

Q: Why should an end-user trust work4sure?
A: We fully understand an end-user’s potential concerns over using a service such as ours. End-user privacy, and the protection thereof, are fundamental to our operations. We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We neither read nor collect any data files. Information that could identify an individual computer, such as an asset tag, component serial number, or volume label is not collected unless a specific business case demands it, e.g., for the provision of technical support. Nothing occurs without the end-user’s consent – we are non-intrusive. The end-user will be told what information will be detected for forwarding to our client e-business, and they will be given the opportunity to review it and, if they so wish, decline sending it. We are non-invasive; the technology does not install any applications or change the configuration of the end-user’s computer. At all times, the end-user will be identifiable to us only by a unique ID number generated each time the service is used.
