Two of the key design criteria for work4sure's technology were simplicity and speed. The explanation that follows illustrates how work4sure actually makes a very difficult thing very simple. And as for speed, it takes longer to read the 5-point explanation than it does for the process to execute!

1. The end-customer clicks on a button on the client website which links via hypertext to the work4sure application server.

2.  This initiates the download of the application from the work4sure server to the end-customer’s computer. The software is less than 40K and downloads in seconds, even via a dial-up connection.

3.  The application establishes a link with the work4sure server to determine the specific data that the client requires.  It then executes and passes back the configuration data to the work4sure data server. 

4.   Inferential model recognition is performed and the exact model information is determined.

5.  The recognized model and other configuration information is then retrieved by the client from work4sure data server in an XML format.  This open format allows the client website to interpret and (usually via scripting) apply the information to the requisite business process (such as a product recommendation).
