work4sure
technology
….an innovative solution
for interacting with your e-business customers and their computers.
Our technology detects configuration
information in real time across the Internet. The technology is non-intrusive in that it makes no changes to the end-user's PC, does not install an application, and nothing is left behind. The technology is of extremely low implementation risk as it can be attached to an e-business website by adding a simple URL link and the detected information is returned to the website in industry standard XML format. The technology has been designed
according to a set of criteria which we express via the acronym FACET:
FACET
- Fast
The whole process takes seconds. Using optimised code, the service is designed
to detect only the information that you, the client, specify. This keeps the
size of files and data transferred (and therefore transfer times) to the absolute
minimum.
- Accurate
Data is acquired and verified electronically. The data detected on the end-user’s
computer is verified against databases on the work4sure
data server to ensure that only accurate information is returned to the client.
- Comprehensive
Hundreds of items of data are available. Data items that can be selected for
detection include; CPU type, class and speed; installed RAM; total and free
storage capacity; video adapter make, model and installed memory; video resolution
and colour bit depth; installed cards (make and model); USB support; operating
system version and build; and much, much more.
- Easy
to Use
It is as simple as clicking a button - for both the client and the end-user.
The service is configured and set up from our website. The client selects,
from interactive drop down lists, the data items to be detected. The end-user
clicks on a button on the client’s website to initiate the service.
- Trusted
The technology is non-intrusive: Personal data is not accessed. work4sure
does not rely on installed programs on the end-user’s computer. No personal
information is detected or passed to the client. The end-user’s detected data
is identified with a unique ID number that cannot be tied to an individual
or individual computer.
